Cara & Corey have to be one of the sweetest most adorable couples I have ever met! I am so excited and honored to be photographing their wedding this year. Cara and Corey chose Duke Gardens for their fall engagement session because it has such a special place in their hearts and relationship. They often would spend a lot of time together at Duke Gardens since they are both Duke graduates. Besides that, Cara’s family has several memorial spots dedicated to her family in Duke Gardens. We were blessed with stunning weather and light, and with how much Cara and Corey love and adore each other, the combination makes for a perfect day! Cara & Corey, we are so happy for both of you and can’t wait to be your photographers for your wedding in September at Duke Chapel with a reception at The Cookery!
Next we headed to Cara’s barn where I had the most amazing time meeting her horse, Moun, he is such a sweetie! The lighting was absolutely stunning on the farm and Cara and Corey were such a blast to hang out with. I’m always on the lookout for tall grass, especially for engagement sessions since it makes photos so romantic, and Cara’s farm had the best tall grass ever! I’m so in love with how the photos turned out!
