I had the opportunity to visit Asheville, NC (literally my FAVORITE town in the world!!) for Laura and Michael’s engagement session. Besides being one of my favorite places, Asheville also happens to be the perfect place for Laura and Michael to enjoy activities they love doing together like playing with their dog, Jasper, going out with their friends and taking advantage of the amazing food and beer, hiking and visiting the Biltmore Estate. Laura and Michael both graduated from Campbell University School of Law, which is also where they met during a moot court competition. Since then, they have been dating for 3 years. During their second anniversary, they both were swamped at work and Laura said they should go away for a weekend. They decided to book a bed and breakfast in Asheville with plans to go to the Biltmore Estate. While there they also met friends for dinner. Michael secretly told his friends that he was going to propose that night! They did a good job keeping a secret because Laura had no idea he was going to propose. After a wonderful day spent at the Biltmore Estate, Laura and Michael returned to the Bed & Breakfast, Michael knelt down and proposed. Laura was so surprised and had no idea what was going on until he pulled out the ring, it was perfect! Their proposal is so romantic, I can relate so much because my husband and I travel to Asheville every year for our anniversary!
Laura and Michael are getting married at Bentwinds Country Club in Fuquay-Varina in September. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding! Congratulations!!
