Many of you might not know, but I LOVE my hometown, Chapel Hill. Rachel and Eli share my passion, and that’s the reason why they chose the Chapel Hill Carriage House for their wedding. Besides having grown up in Chapel Hill, its the town that brought Rachel and Eli together and they have amazing memories from college, Rachel having attended UNC and Eli, Duke. The Chapel Hill Carriage House was exactly their style. It is rustic, charming, and beautiful – not to mention FUN with all the games, the fireplace for smores, and the goats. As a photographer, this venue is wonderful! It has so many diverse backdrops in one place… a historic home, an open air barn, beautiful green way, pond, forest, grassy fields and winding stone pathways.
Another wonderful aspect of Rachel and Eli’s wedding was how they incorporated personal touches of southern charm. They included many photos of family members, had southern cupcake flavors (banana pudding and spice cake), mason jars, southern food, a smores station, corn hole and hanging lanterns from the trees! What is not to love!
Congratulations to Rachel and Eli!!
